‘Wearin’ it - DIY wearable workshop’, André Gonçalves, PT
An introductory workshop to the arduino analog/digital interface world based on the cute and washable lilypad version. Focused on wearable devices and standalone electronic applications that you can wear and stitch into your daily life clothing. This workshop will allow you to design and produce an apparatus to be implemented in your own clothing and that you can start using as soon as you leave the workshop. No prior skills needed and all tools/parts provided!

André GonçalvesAbout the Creator
André Gonçalves, works across the fields of sound, visuals and mixed media. A self-taught programmer and hacker, his work has become internationally, recognized for its poetic detail and environmental responsiveness.
Over the last two years, André has been teaching computer vision techniques and approaches at Restart, media school and has facilitated workshops for CADA, PT and artist workshops in Istanbul. His experimental inter-media work has been shown internationally and he discography includes releases on the labels: Grain of Sound, Crónica Electrónica and Sirr (PT), Efervescence (FR), Cherry Music (JP), Winds Measure (US) and Antmanuv (CAN).
